These yarns are of the finest quality. They are lightweight, with a silken texture but are strong, durable and relatively flame retardant. Most importantly, the finished product is silky soft and luxuriously elegant to touch.

The Process: The fleece of the goat is carefully washed to remove dirt and then gently combed to create a gorgeous fiber that virtually sparkles. The raw mohair is then spun on a wheel by using careful, time-honored techniques. The result is a yarn that is natural, strong, versatile, and above all, beautiful. The yarn is finally knitted or woven into the finished article. And, as you can see, the product is stunning and conveys all the warmth and luxury you expect from natural, hand-worked mohair.

We sell fleeces, processed fleece for spinning or hand spun yarn.

Roving is available from our angora goats. We have natural white and gray. We also have some roving swirled with colors.
